Rev. Todd Terry was appointed to serve as Ridge Baptist Church's Senior Pastor March 14, 2021.

Current Position in the church: Senior Pastor

Prior to that, he served as  an Evangelist with the Gary Gregg Evangelistic Association in Gastonia, NC and an Administrator I at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation in Gaffney, SC.
The attributes that best describe Todd as a pastor are strong preaching, personal evangelism, discipleship and prayer. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Ridge Baptist Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Todd takes worship and expository preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study.

He graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1998 with a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages.

Favorite Bible Verse: 2 Timothy 4:5 -But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Family:  He is the Son of John Terry and Joan Drayton Coffey. Todd is single, never married and is waiting on the Lord to send him a wife, if it is His will. While he does not have any human children, Todd has five Toy Poodles named DE-O-J, Sassy, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe. the think that they are humans.

Jana was appointed to serve as Ridge Baptist Church's Part-time Music Director.

Position(s) in the church: Part-time music Director,  Van Driver, Decorating Committee, Fellowship Committee, etc.

Family: Jana is happily married to Mike Shepard. They have one son and two grandchildren.

Gail became the Office Administrator in August of 2022,

Saved: She was saved at the age of 9 at Unity Baptist Church under Pastor W.F. Woodall

Favorite Verse: John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Family: Gail is married to Barry Postell. They have a son, Matthew, who is married to Courtney Barkley Postell.

Grandchildren: Camille, Lucas, and Andrew (Drew) Postell.

Pat was appointed to serve as Ridge Baptist Church's part-time Financial Secretary in August 2019.

Saved: March 16, 1975, and joined Ridge Baptist Church the same day.

Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 91:1-2 - Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (NIV).

Family: Pat is happily married to her husband, Keith Stover. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.

Sylvia began playing the piano for the morning services at Ridge Baptist Church on August 31, 2023, and began playing for the morning and evening services on June 14, 2024.

Sylvia was hired as the Church Custodian on April 15, 2025.

Saved: Sylvia states, "I was saved at the young age of 6. I'll never forget that Sunday evening service when I felt compelled to walk down the altar and give my life to the Lord. I was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC."

Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 119:105 - "Thy Word Is A Lamp Unto My Feet, And A Light Unto My Path".
 
Family: Sylvia is happily married to Bradley Clay Joyce. They have two children: Bryan Lee Joyce and Rachel Anne Joyce
